Hour 1:
Analysis and Artist Statements Notes

Fahrenheit 451 Introduction: Simon Sinek on Millenials
Fahrenheit 451 Packet. Homework: Read until page 23

Hour 2:
Artist Statement Suggested Questions:
Some helpful guidelines for your artist statement: Who did you interview? How did the interview go? What was the process of your designs? What does each panel represent and why did you choose this for your interviewee? How did you work together to create this lantern? What kind of circuits/materials/colors did you choose and why? What is the most important/valuable lesson that you learned from this interviewee? What are the most memorable moments from the interview? (No more than 200 words)

Elementary Folder <-- Put all of your work in here for the elementary lanterns!
Community Folder <-- Put all of your work in here for the community lanterns!
Senior Citizen Folder <-- Put all of your work in here for the senior lanterns!

Due at the BEGINNING of the day tomorrow:
HARD COPY DUE: Artist statement for community lantern.
DIGITAL SHARED (WITH CAROL) COPY DUE: Two more paragraphs for your Cooked Essay
Read F451 until page 20.

Here's the digital copy of Fahrenheit 451: http://www.secret-satire-society.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/Ray-Bradbury-Fahrenheit-451.pdf

If you are in my version of the text, you are reading until you finish page 20. We stopped at the end of page 10.

If you're in another version, start where it says: "What?" asked Montag of that other self, the subconscious idiot that ran babbling at times, quite independent of will, habit, and conscience."  Stop after you read, "If we had a fourth wall, why it'd be just like this room wasn't ours at all, but all kinds of exotic people's rooms. We could do without a few things."

Afternoon:
