It was really cool to have the opportunity to be out in nature and appreciate the simplicity of being outdoors, unplugged from our devices. I also deeply enjoyed getting to stargaze away from all of the city light pollution. Overall, I feel like I was able to connect with nature and spend time getting to know my new class in a unique environment." ~Sophia

"I liked bonding with other people and telling stories. I liked the hikes because there were pretty sceneries and other animals. I liked how the hikes weren't too hard because all we had to do was walk and didn't have to climb. I feel like it was easier to bond in nature because we aren't in a small classroom and it was a new feeling/place. ~Jenny

"My favorite part of campign was getting to know other people and really just falling in love with nature. In the mornings, when I was cold, I would love looking out to the forest, then have the sun bring a different color to the world. Or when night came around, I could just admire the stars and just think." ~Zulema

"At the campground, I appreciated the beautiful, well maintained trails and getting hit by the cold morning breeze and feeling the cold on my fingers. I like how at night you can see the stars with no light pollution to interfere and being able to see cattle ruminate their food. And the bonding you do, in nature is unmatchable to another bonding." ~Adrian

"I had so much fun seeing the sunrise over the trees in the morning and seeing the stars at night. These experiences are something you don't get to see in the city."" ~Matthew

"The stars were, in one word, breathtaking. There were just so many of them and it was truly gorgeous. You could see the Milky Way and without the light pollution in the city, we could view so much. I wish I could have stayed up all night just to stargaze. It made me appreciate the outdoors a lot more and want to go camping more often. I'm very grateful for the experience." ~Sydney

"It was a great experience for me as it was my first time camping. I was amazed by the view at night because when you live in a city like I do, you don't see anything like that." ~Karley
