2. Due Tuesday: Draft 1 of Your Origin Story! 
3. (Optional) Challenge Option #2: Research Orpheus OR Eurydice. Who are they in ancient Mythology? What is their story? Where do you see how their ancient stories have influenced how they are represented in Sarah Ruhl's play?

2. Martin Luther King Jr.: Choose one of the following quotes. Read it to a parent or other trusted adult. Ask them what they think about it and ask them to share stories that they think of when listening to or thinking of the quote. Write a 1 paragraph response to the quote that explains what you learned from your trusted adult and explains your thoughts on the quote. 
3. (Optional) Challenge Option #1: Read the following speech by Martin Luther King Jr. Write a 1 page paper (double spaced, size 12 font, MLA formatted) reflecting on the speech, answering one more of the following questions: What is the speech about? Lyndon B. Johnson stopped talking to MLK after this speech and his advisors warned him not to make it. Why do you think this speech was so controversial? What points does he make ? Do you agree with his points? Why or why not?
