Check on and change:
1. Make sure your formatting is correct!
2. Make sure your stage directions are in present tense
Consider:
Do we get to know each of your characters as an individual?
What are the "big moments" in the play? Does the piece build up to its big moments?
Are there real, human emotions in the piece? Where are they and are they conveyed honestly?
