Week of March 2nd
Hello 9th Grade!
We have 1 week till SLCs in Advisory, 2 weeks until intersession, and 3 weeks until Spring Break! Let’s do this! Stay focused everyone!

We will have our exhibition for our roller coasters at Belmont Park on April 17th from 5-7pm. Students and families are responsible for getting down to Belmont Park on that night. We have already submitted the wristband numbers, but if you are interested in wristbands, we are starting a wait-list for $13.95 wristbands (regular pricing is $31), and we will try to get more wristbands.

For Carol/Schwartz team, we only have 1 parent driver for our March 10th trip. We are able to get a bus, but we would have to charge $8 per student. We would LOVE to get enough parent drivers!!! We have a grant that makes our entrance to the museum free and we’d love to keep this trip free. Please email Carol at ccabrera@hightechhigh.org if you are able to drive!

CELEBRATIONS
*Shyanna has been great about checking in daily with her teachers about her assignments. Great self-advocacy!
*Joaquin, Josefina, and Zubin were the first to send in sound clips from their podcast last week. Great work.
*Mariah, Brisa, and Gabe made enormous strides on their roller coaster creation.
*Jacob Scibetta, Jesus, Nathan G. and Nick stayed after school with Ms. Jamie to work on various assignments and catch up! Nice work ethic!
*Nicolai has been great about turning in work and doing well on his vocabulary quizzes.
*Abigail G. has been taking incredible notes--we have been using some for the whole class!
