1) Find the small sheets of green paper on your table.  Please write a suggestion for Ms. Johnson: the fastest and most effective way to bring our 9th grade Humanities class to attention (without shouting) is _____.  You can write more than one if you'd like.  
Hint:  Think of some of the existing methods our class uses, like the chime, claps, or repeat phrases like "eyes and ears on me please" etc.

2) Look up when you are finished, and we will read this article as a class.

~Three handmade examples and a short slide deck.

• How-to - 3 examples (large format, mini book, accordion)
• Brainstorms
• Make your zine coherent (pick a topic, theme, or niche interest)
• Requirements:  Choose a format and have at least 1 page done by break; 8 pages done by end of class
