Hour 1:
POL Scheduling- Call Parents and schedule presentations
*COMPLETE your SLCs! Share with Schwartz, Carol, Julio AND your parents.
Which POL Option are you working on? Why? How can you make your presentation interesting?
How are each of your classes incorporated into your POL?
What evidence from each of your classes are you using during your presentations?
What visuals are you using for your presentation? (PowerPoint/Prezi/Evidence from Classes)
Hour 2:
Students practice presentations to the whole class for feedback
What kinds of questions are good questions to ask presenters? How do you develop questions that authentically push thinking?
Feedback: How are each of the classes represented in this POL?
Is the speaker engaging and interesting? Do you want to listen?
Hour 3:
POL Worktime
Hour 4:
Students present in small groups of 3 and fill out feedback sheets to turn in to the teacher at the end of the hour
