Hour 1:
Create a list of objectives or "wants" and a second list of fears. For example, the first list could include "love, to go to college, freedom, money, books, vacation" etc., and the second list could include, "spiders, heights, never finding love, not meeting your potential, public speaking" etc. List at least 15 wants and at least 15 fears, no matter how serious or silly.
After you are done, take out your independent reading book and read.
Take some time to look at your Critical Readers plays. If you haven't done so already, comment with 2 pops, 2 questions, and 2 what ifs.
