Humanities Hour:
Take out a notebook/sheet of paper. You will keep all of the notes that you take during these writing tasks together for the remainder of the year for note checks for the writing workshops. Note checks will happen once a week.
Writing Task: Think of interesting SETTINGS in film and literature and theatre. What are some interesting PLACES that you have seen used in stories or what are some places that you can imagine interesting things happening? List as many places as you possibly can in the next 5 minutes or until Carol calls time.
For example:
A haunted playground
A magical world where people all can read one another's minds and fly
A coffee shop that is constantly out of coffee
A world where money doesn't exist and people must rely on their talents
An elevator that has been stuck in the same spot for 2 hours
A lab where the cure for cancer has just been discovered
