Use your Personal Legend worksheet to craft a personal MISSION STATEMENT for your first Blog Post along with an explanation of your MISSION STATEMENT.

Guidelines:
1. Your mission statement should be 1-3 sentences. Short. Sweet. Distilled.
2. Your explanation should be 7 sentence minimum and explain why this is your mission statement, how you chose this to be your mission statement, and expand upon and explain anything that we might not understand completely.

EXAMPLES OF MISSION STATEMENTS

DENISE MORRISON, CEO OF CAMPBELL SOUP COMPANY
“To serve as a leader, live a balanced life, and apply ethical principles to make a significant difference.”

JOEL MANBY, CEO OF HERSCHEND FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT
“Personal success is to love God and love others.”

OPRAH WINFREY, FOUNDER OF OWN, THE OPRAH WINFREY NETWORK
“Be a teacher. And to be known for inspiring my students to be more than they thought they could be.”

AMANDA STEINBERG, FOUNDER OF DAILYWORTH.COM

“Use my gifts of intelligence, charisma, and serial optimism to cultivate the self-worth and net-worth of women around the world.”

Maya Angelou:
My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla:
If something is important enough you should try, even if the probable outcome is failure.

Walt Disney, Founder of Walt Disney Productions:
To make people happy.

7 Questions To Ask Yourself To Find Your Mission Statement
  1. What is the problem you are seeing in the world?
  2. What are you intending to fix?
  3. Why are you doing what you are doing? And why is that? And why is that? (I usually find that by asking 3 “whys” or more, I can find the real reason for something.)
  4. What in your past experience makes you passionate about this?
  5. What would the best version of yourself look like?
  6. How are you different from other people who are doing similar things?
  7. Is your mission sufficiently narrow enough to be differentiate it from others?

I want to make other people and myself happy. I chose this mission statement because I like to make people happy. I always try to tell jokes and to be welcomed. I also need to be happy myself because if in not I would not be able to do any of my other goals. It will be bad if I was never happy I wont be able to make others happy. I have always have tried to fit in and be welcome and the way I tried to get around it is to tell jokes. It sometimes worked and that made it so it was built into my personality.

i would agree with most of the things if they were true, now (dramatic pause), I know i am making some bold claims (looks around room) but it's true. I never see jack tell any good jokes (gasps). and that is my case. Thank you your honer, (sits down and drops mic then leave room).

Gavin Ibbetson,”if you never get on stage, you won’t see the light in the dark.”

It means that if you never face your fears, you could find some peace of you. But it also means other things like, if you never try you will never succeed. But the reason I chose this quote is because my mom would tell me something like that so I made it into a quote. The thing is, this can apply to a lot of things in life like fears or new thing you have not tried. The thing I can apply this too was when I was in blayney meadows I had to jump off a 20 foot rock into water when I was 8. Why would I use the quote to help me in my life? Well i hope you will use it to be more open to new or other things. But there was one more use for the quote and I saved this one for last because it was darker. You need to open up if your in need because you think that it will be mocked or laugh at but the light is what you need.

I like how this applies to our dreams. I think this because for anything we want to try, we need motivation. If we don't take the opportunities presented to us, we will never be truly contented in life. These were my thoughts and takeaway from this, and thank you for writing such an inspiring mission statement!

My mission is to live life with the freedom to follow any new interest that I may come across.

This is my mission statement because I enjoy exploring new things that I learn about and seem interesting. I like this because it keeps my life interesting and more lively than simply always enjoying one thing forever. I try my best to do this in my life, though I am usually constrained by the amount of money and time that I am able to spread out over multiple hobbies. I chose this as my mission statement because it is just how I am living my life right now, and it best describes how I want my future to be like right now. When I am older, I would like to wander and travel by myself to wherever I find interest in, getting a simple part time job wherever I decide to settle for a year or so to maximize the time I spend exploring. I would probably spend most of my time fishing in whatever new area I find, and leave to a new place when the fishing starts to get bad. This would probably be tons of fun to do, but also a bit stressful due to the unstableness of this type of life.

(Attention please) The Jude says. (Gavin stands up) look i would like to agree with you, but i can't you see, you had a little hiccup in your writhing it says here that you (though I am usually constrained by The amount of money and time that I am able to spread out over multiple hobbies). Now how is this relevant you ask? well he never told us what his hobbies were. Now yes later on he said he like to fish but that is all i see. But i can't understand the context of this if theirs nothing to support this.So... i say not guilty because other then that, it was good writing. So i rest my case (sits down and walk out of room).

This is an amazing mission statement, as it shows that you are not afraid to do what you want and that you are creative. However, as you get older, it might not be wise to always follow any new interest that you come across, since in the real world you don't get infinite opportunities to pursue many interests. As you get older, it might be a good idea to begin thinking about whether you really enjoy something, or if it only mildly amusing and you're not going to do it for very long.

Ruby Fletcher

My mission statement is that “I want to be happy, and make others happy”
I chose this because I thrive off of others happiness when people aren’t happy or feeling sad it makes me sad and I stop being happy all together. I’m just a very empathetic person and I always want everyone to be happy. I also feel when I’m not happy around other people that it changes everything so I find myself putting on an act or trying to not have people notice that I’m sad or mad because I’m a very vulnerable person when I’m sad and even mad. So my mission is to be happy because I am the best when I’m happy and I always want to make others happy.

Pretty cool Ruby you get two thumbs up from me mate.I can see you doing that too. A question for you lass is “What if somebody else is sad and feels vulnerable and you notice it what will you do?” Do you confront it or what do you do? I kind of see the connection to The Alchemist book about trying to find happiness and stuff through your blog post.

My mission statement is, “In life, I just want to make it to the point where I feel happy and successful. To reach that point would be the best thing in the world. To overcome the thoughts. Completely block them or not have them at all.” This is my mission statement because without being happy there would be no point to life. I want to have a purpose and feel like I belong. I’ve always wanted myself to be happy in the future, but now it makes sense more than ever. I’m not the type to focus on wanting big expensive things, but to want the best for me. I want to be successful because that can lead to that needed happiness. To be an anesthesiologist, it takes lots of hard work and dedication. That can lead to me accomplishing my mission.

My mission is to "Help others as much as I can, but also to not forget to take care of my wants and needs."
This my mission statement because I find that there are some people that have an unhealthy balance of helping other people and helping themselves. People either are too selfish, and they don't care to help others. Or they only help other people and will go above and beyond helping others with their wants and needs, but not their own. I want to have a healthy balance of helping others, as well as making time for what I want and need. I feel like this is important because to truly love your life you need to have the things that you want and the things that make you happy, but you also need to help the people around you.I need to want to help others for the job I want, and to be happy in my job I need to take care of the things that are important to me. This is why I think this mission will matter in my life now and in the future.

This is something extremely important and it can be very difficult to find a healthy balance between both. If you are too focused on helping others that may be really damaging to not only your mental health, but also you're future and what you need or want. On the other hand, it's never good to be self-centered and make everything about you, neglecting others. This is something I hope to work on, finding a healthy balance between both because I have struggled with it and have not realized how damaging it may be.

"There is light at the end of the tunnel, you just have to make it to the end".

This mission statement creates visual to understand that there is always light at the end of the tunnel but you need to work to get there first. In life you will not always get everything you want with ease, therefore you need to work and prove that you are willing to push through life's difficulties. Life will always have its up's and down's but you can always make it to the best things in life if you are willing to try. Trying your best to strive in life helps you achieve your goals and happiness.

“I wish to solve the problems that no one has the answers to. Though we may not know it, these are the problems that trouble us the most.”

This is my mission statement because, in my life, there have been problems that I could never find the solution to. This really bothered me because these were the problems which really mattered (not that other problems don’t matter!). I chose this to be my mission statement because it’s very prevalent nowadays because of problems like global warming, etc. Also, because of the struggles and problems people go through in their day-to-day lives. If I want to become a robotics engineer, there is always going to be a problem, one way or another. To combat these problems, I would need to think of solutions for problems constantly. I also want to create innovative solutions for these problems. This is why I chose my mission statement.

My Mission Statement is: "I want to make everyone who put effort into my childhood proud."
I picked this because if I fulfill my mission statement, I will gain peace of mind that I have not disappointed anyone. Obviously, making myself proud is very important also, however, I think it is very good to think of what other people want for me, so that my values don't go too off track from what they should be. I'm not exactly sure how I will know when I've achieved this, but it will most likely be when I can call my family members and talk to them without being nervous of what they think of me.

I like the idea of this goal, and how it shows that the best way to feel good is to make the people around us happy. Coming into a new school, it is a good choice to do this so that you can make a lot friends easily and not anger anyone. It can lead to problems though, where you hold back possibly insulting comments that might help that person grow more as a person.

To make an impact on at least one persons life.
I think the we have a hard time understanding one another. I think that we get so caught up in the moment that we forget about the big picture and that we get so focused that we almost forget about everything else and lose sight of the big picture. I think that if we all just somehow listened to everyone in the world that we see them in a different light. We would somehow find something in common and be able to connect with them and that would lead to having a common goal. We wouldn't have a reason to consistently argue with each other because we would understand each other better. I would say that I have a pretty good life and I don't have much personal injustices but I know that other people do and I don't want to pretend that I have any idea what those people are going through so instead of trying to change those injustices, making it possible for the people who have faced those injustices to have a chance to fight them but making it so they aren't alone in that fight. I have no idea how I plan to make this happen and obviously I won't be able to change the whole world but making it so at least one person in the world can have the ability and chance to fight for the change they want is good enough for me.

My mission estimate is educate people to make a better community

I just need this as my mission statement because in different places there are more crime and violent act going on catch them before the most impact thing thing about this is that smaller people are the ones going into that type of lifestyle one thing I consider important is educating kids and helping others in that lifestyle to change their way of looking at life and making a strong community and if parents are educating their kids and taking care of who they hang out with will help keep kids safe from going into a toxic lifestyle and parents should teach and educate their kids and family members to be nice hopeful respectful and most important honest

"Bring people together through my creations and enrich human connection."

I feel that human connection is something that is very important to me. Whether it be playing a game with friends or playing against a rival sports team. I believe that it is my mission statement to bring people together because I bring people together for events, parties, to play a game, or to work together very often. I work well as a facilitator and leader so I can bring people together. I feel that if we don't live a lifestyle in which we have human connection we aren't human at all. My Personal Legend Mission Statement is "To spread happiness to those around me." A Mission Statement is something that you want for yourself in your life. All of your next decisions should be made to get you to that point in your life. I chose this as my Mission Statement because one thing that I know that I definitely don't want for my future is to be surrounded by unhappy people. Myself and others being unhappy seems like one of the worst case scenarios for me and my future. So, I began to think of the best ways, not just to avoid this problem, but to fix it. The most logic answer to this question for me was to strive to create a cheerful and jovial atmosphere for myself and anyone one else. The way I chose my Mission Statement was by thinking and listing all of the things that I would hate to have in my future. A few examples of this for me were, not getting to collaborate with others, not being excited about my job, and not getting much free time. Out of all the things that I thought of, they all lead back to just me and others around me being happy and excited about life.

I really like your mission statement. I feel like some people need to be more happy and try to spread positive instead of negative stuff. It's also very easy to spread happiness as easily as complementing someone or asking how they are doing. Spreading kindness to others also makes it more likely that they will want to be kinder too.

To take care of myself and others.
I chose this as my mission statement because I think this is the most important thing in life. I was thinking of what the most important and my first thought was about making myself and other people happy. I didn’t choose that as my mission statement because trying to take care of people and their lives and mindsets in the long run won’t always make them happy at the beginning. There are some decisions that seem like they’ll make your life terrible when they first happen, but are really better for you in your future. I think it’s very important to make people happy, but just trying to make them happy every time they’re sad isn’t enough. Sometimes you have to find what’s really causing problems in your own life and other people’s lives. There might be something that seems like it's making you happy but is really damaging you. Getting rid of those things can be painful and difficult, but it will help you in your life. I want to be able to make decisions about my own life that will make me safe even if I’m not really happy with them.

Zubin, I really appreciate this mission statement! I think that so often we (myself included) focus too much on either ourselves OR other people. This can be long-term or it can be a situation where we go back and forth between the two--but either way, you're describing finding a balance that sounds healthy and good for every party involved! And I think it's definitely true that sometimes we aren't that happy with a decision in the moment even if it's better for us and makes us happier in the long run. Thanks for sharing!

My mission statement is “Don’t give up when things get difficult or you will regret it.” When you look back on your life when we are older I know I don't want to regret giving up on anything when I know I could have done more. Life can be tough but that doesn't mean you should give up. Giving up isn't going to get you anywhere in life. You will make mistakes that is inevitable but don't give up choose to grow and do better. When I say don’t give up I mean don’t give up on yourself know you can do better. The past is the past, you can’t change that but you can grow to be a better person. Have you ever thought of something you once did or didn't do that you regret? Most people have but do you want that to stop you from being happy and being the best possible person you can be.

I feel like a lot of peoples mission statements are things that they want to accomplish in the future where yours is a thing you can be doing now. I think that your mission statement is something that we can all connect to in someway or another.

“Make use of every moment ”

I have struggled with making use of every moment and missed out and ruined things that could've been great, all because I was focused on what I had in the past or where I wanted to be in the future, not realizing that where and what I had in that moment would never be the same again. Losing someone dear to me as my pets and family members, I now realize that I need to make the best use of every situation. I know I won’t always have what I have now. Make the most of every moment, even the bad ones. The present moment is all you have, there is no guarantee you will be here tomorrow, so it's important you make use of where you are and what you have. I have learned to embrace the bad things in life, as those things and situations have made me stronger and more knowledgeable. They are helping shape me into who I am and who I will be in the future. I believe everything happens for a reason and everything bad that happens will help me grow and learn.

Our world today is facing a lot of different problems and we all have are own opinions on them but before the problem there's a choice. Our choices are made from our perspectives and our perspectives are made from the type of mindset we develop and things we experience. Most of us want to be happy and successful one day, but our world is challenged with fear and negativity. There are people who think negatively about themselves and others, when we should help each other see the possibilities. You must be the change you wish to see in the world.

My mission statement is to be happy, inspire, and impact those around me.

My mission statement - ̈ Don't be shy because your voice will never be heard ̈

This is my mission statement because just being shy makes you invisible. I’m shy, sure in class, I raise my hand just one time like maybe per class. And when it’s project time I raise when I need help like any other student. But it doesn’t help when just project time or independent time. Everyone has a voice and teachers are also looking for the shyest people and making them read or they look confuse saying your class and everyone in class looks at you. But there's no stupid question. If you don’t open up it's possible no one would want to listen to you.

“Be an advocate for those that do not have a voice”

I chose this as my mission statement because I feel that a lot of people are being mistreated because of their race, ethnicity, and economic status. I have can understand them, I was also attacked once based on that I was Mexican. And I don’t like seeing people getting hurt. Also, I’ve seen trials where sometimes they convict the wrong person and half their life is ruined because of a simple mistake. Now I’m unsure of what I want my future career to be, a lawyer, politician, or work in a criminology field. I want to be the voice of those who can’t speak for themselves.

I really like at the end when you explained that no matter what career field you ultimately decide to go into your biggest priority is using your voice to advocate for others who are unable to do so themselves. I think relating your profession interests to your mission statement could strongly help you achieve it in the future.

I also think that falsely accusing someone based on how they look is a major fault in our world that everyone needs to work to solve. Advocating for those in need is a great start to solving those issues.

My mission statement is - " Don't be afraid to stand up for the things you love to do"

This is my mission statement because we often have things we want to do but are scared of the outcome. I know that whenever I have an opportunity to show people my talent, or share my ideas, I'm often too scared of what people might say or think after. There's often times when we do that and then regret not doing it before, when we had the chance. Sometimes we end up throwing our life changers away, because we were too paranoid of people's opinions. When we choose something like this we even lose our happiness, we once had. I want to share with people that if there's something you truly love to do and want to share with the world, take advantage of the chances you're given in life because once you have one, you might not get it again. Perhaps in the future when you do take the chance it will end up being something that people will cherish.

Ashley Tavares-”To understand what people want/need so I can find out what I need/ want”

Why I chose this as my mission statement Is because I feel like my life is incomplete when there is someone in my life stuck trying to find and not enjoying what they have. Helping others find what they want/need will help me find what I want/need. That I help will help me understand that there is more to life. That there are things deeper than surface level. That the smaller pictures of things have bigger meanings.I still have trouble thinking about my far and near future. Helping others helps me think about what I actually want. It is a win, win situation.

Good job Ashley. I like your mission statement because helping different people might help you discover what you like to do in life. Also maybe sharing different things in your life with people that care about you will help you to understand that you are not alone in this world. It may also help others and you to see the bigger picture in life.

I want my mission statement to be “To be there when no one else is.”I chose this to be my statement for a couple of reasons. The first reason is that I would like to be treated as I treat others. If I am there for someone when they are in need, then I expect the same thing back. Most of the time I won’t expect this. When I need somebody or something, I want someone there for me. Also, I know that people are sad sometimes, and they need someone they can talk to. I want to become someone who can be there for people. I don’t know how I can achieve that right now, but I feel like I As time goes on I can become that person.

To make people smile

The reason I chose these words is because, I think life is to serose and people need to smile and have fun. I strive to do this whether it's through a joke or from something I do or form something I create. If it makes them smile it makes me smile. I find smiling sort of like a medicine with no down sides. Whether you had a bad day or a good one I hope it makes you feel happy. All in all this is my mission I just think people need to smile more. So go out there and make someone smile.

"You are allowed to like what others do not like."
My family likes things that I don't like, and that's fine. I have felt like I had to be interested in music that I think is annoying. For a while I just pretended to like that music so I wouldn't look "weird". Since then, I have learned that it is fine to be weird. It is fine to enjoy weird things, because it makes you be the person that you are.

"Forge your own path"
I choose this mission because I don't want to blend in with the crowd. I want to make a difference; influence people to follow their own paths. I don't want other to give up on their dreams just because their family or friends don't approve. To forge their own paths to follow what they want and don't look for approval in other people.

Live life as you should. I use this statement a lot because you shouldn't have other people in your life pick what your job, answer, etc. is going to be. You should be able to think what is good for you and people around you. Listen to yourself and go with the idea and don't have anyone else thoughts and ideas get in the way of that.

Do the things that you enjoy, if not, then find what you do enjoy.

In life you can only do so much. Eventually your time runs out one way or another. So with the time you have, you might as well do something that you enjoy. Anything that brings you joy, pleasure, entertainment, happiness, etc. And if you don't enjoy doing something, then you might as find it. Cause whats the point of living, if your not enjoying what your doing.

It's okay to rely on others, as long as you help as well. I chose this as my mission statement because everything at my old school was independent, there were no group projects. However, at this school, everything is group projects. It is a big change, and it is hard to admit that you need help, when you came from an academically advanced school like I did. I don't know everything though, so I am trying to work on that and also to help others when they need it as well (mostly on math). It is very embarrassing when you are unable to do anything to contribute to the massive projects we have here, so I am trying my hardest and will continue to do so.

Mission statement:
“My mission is to help all living things to try to be kind and to appreciate what I have”
I chose this as my mission statement because I am a person that will do my best to help all living things. Either it be animals or people or even insects. (eww) I chose to put this in my mission statement because when I help other it makes me feel better about myself. I try to be kind because there are those days when your tired and in a bad mood because not everyone is perfect and we all have emotions. So I try my best to be kind and not to be rude, judge others, and or disrespect others. The reason I put to appreciate what I/we have because nowadays we are so ungrateful and we don't appreciate everyday things like food, water, electricity, etc. I feel like this applies to my future jobs and hopefully my lifestyle.

My mission statement is to always keep people happy and in a good mood. Even if they are not in a good mood, I want to change it into a good mood. This is my mission statement because when someone is in a good mood and happy, they are more fun to be around. They are also more likely to have fun and not be bored. If someone is happy and you ask them something, they will answer you in a good response without being angry. I like to hang out with someone in a good mood because I get to have a better relationship with that person when we’re talking and having a good time. If not, we will never actually know each other and we’ll just be surface-level friends and not be good friends.

Your dream shouldnt just be an idea or thought, your dream should be something that is always on your mind and that you put your everything into, no matter what.
This is my mission statement, because the field that I want to build a career in, is pretty difficult and requires all of your effort, dedication, time and perseverance. This career is my dream and goal, so I must put my all into it. If I don’t, then it’s just an idea or thought and to me, it’s way more than that. I came up with my mission statement after completing the ‘Probable Self’ section in the ‘My Personal Legend’ packet. This section really made me think about how much dedication I have to put in to achieve my dream career.

This is my mission statement because “Nevermind” is a word I tend to say a lot, and when I was younger I would be too scared to speak up, even now this is a challenge I still face. This will tend to put me into a place I don't want to be in because I either couldn't say no or change my mind. “Form follows function.”

This is my mission statement because form and design doesn’t always represent the meaning or purpose of an item or person. This is similar to the famous statement “don’t judge a book by its cover”. I heard this statement a long time ago on a car tv show and to me it is a very powerful statement because it can relate to any form of judgement. Every time I make something for a project or any other piece of work I try to remember this statement to help me. It helps me with projects because I always make my project functional before I make it look good.

My mission statement is to stop people from giving up. I see a lot of people give up on things and give up before they even try. I've seen lots of people do this multiple times and have personally done it myself, but want to change that. If you just give up and don't try then you will miss out on whatever the outcome of trying would've been. This helps me with projects because I use this mindset to push myself through.

Mission Statement: "If you set your goals ridiculously high and it's a failure, you will fail above everyone else's success."

I found this quote from James Cameron, and I find it very relatable because I always try to set my goals very high. I also like the quote because I feel like it is always good aim as high as you can and hope to get as close as you can to your original vision. One example of me using this quote was in the museum project where we had a bunch of crazy ideas for our "music box". In the end however, we still had a product that we liked and worked well for the exhibition. I also think about this quote every time we do a new project, especially the lantern project. The biggest example is our " Pillow Fortress" that is going to be a massive castle themed around pillow forts and childhood adventures.

Work hard, dream big, and persevere. Those are the words that every human being should live by. If one does not work hard, they will not get what they want. It’s just simple facts. If one does not dream big, then working hard is pointless because if one works hard to try and obtain a small goal, all that hard work that a person has put in almost isn’t worth it. If a person does not persevere then they will never reach their big dream. In any situation in life a person will face adversity and pain. They will feel like they want to give up and quit. Which is true. But they must have the willpower and the mindset to persevere and achieve their goal or dream. I have been living by these words since I first heard them. It gets tough and it’s only going to get tougher since I am still only 14 years old. But, I will keep living by these words.

My Mission Statement: Continuously remind others and myself that we are made of magic, and that we live in a magical world if we look with the right eyes.

I've distilled this mission statement into something a little more poetic, a little simpler in the past. But for now, this will do. As most of you know, I'm married to my boyfriend from freshman year of high school. He asked me to homecoming with a magic trick, and while we didn't stay together all those years, we got back together in our 20s, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. He reminded me then that the world is made of magic, and when I watch him do magic for people and get people to laugh and smile, I am reminded constantly that this world is a CRAZY beautiful place, if we look at it the right way--and even if we see flaws and terrible things in the world, we have a lot of power within ourselves to make changes to these things and make them beautiful again. I'm made of magic, and so are you, and we live in a magical world.

You have to make your own paths and see where you end up. I want to be something big in life but I know I have to do things on my own so that I could succeed. I struggled a lot with this because I never thought about an ultimate goal before, while it is true I have goals that I worked towards and still do, but I never thought about what the final, most significant goal I have is. After thinking a lot more about it I realized that what would make me feel like I've succeeded would be if I had done enough to help the community and the people around me. Growing up I learned a lot about the struggles of others in different communities and how I can help and learn to advocate for their needs as well. I decided at a fairly young age that after I'd graduate college I would join the Peace Core for 1-2 years to learn more and help different communities. I realised that my personal mission is to help as many people I can, and advocate for the planet when others won't listen. I want to help bring attention to the silent voices of the planet. I want to be a part of changing our lifestyles and help improve the planet

My mission Statement: Failure isn't bad because you can thrive from it, but giving up is when you let go of it all.

I chose this as my mission because I know that many people, including myself, have wanted to give up after failing, thinking that where you fail was somewhere I couldn't come back from. There have been projects, soccer games, etc. where I almost gave up because I thought whatever we did it would not matter because the score was settled. In those situations, I quickly learned that I would feel worse if I gave up and left my teammates behind to think the same, so I always turned back around and felt much better that I decided to encourage the people I worked with to not give up and if we failed or lost, to learn from it. I had family and friends in my life to show me that failure was not bad because from it I could be better the second time around than the first time.

I have changed the last 5 years. Wow that’s so cool. But it was a slow change and it was a bit difficult at first. I was in 4th grade when I realized that I was horrible at making friends. I was alone and I would talk to my classmates and they would sometimes invite me to sit with them but I just didn’t fit. 5th grade was the best because I got a seat next to a girl named Haliey and I suppose you could say we clicked and started hanging out. She introduced me to handball and she and I would win like 90% of the time. 6th grade was different and it was better than 5th grade but the change from 5 to 6 was sad, since all my friends were going to Rancho Minerva middle or Vista Magnet. After 6 grade I have a lot of friends. Now today I feel better in opening to people and being around people.

I have to protect the ocean and do not pollute. There is a lot of trash in the ocean and some animals get stuck in trash. I want to save animals a lot. I love the water and I love underwater creatures. I like fish and I always like turtles, dolphins, wales, sharks, and sea urchin. Some little sea urchins are so small that there are no spikes on them. They are like 3 inches. I love dogs so much. Sometimes they are cute and cuddle. 5 years ago, I hated dogs. The reason this is my mission statement is because I want people to be proud of who I am. it might sound like i just want approval from other people but thats not what I'm trying to say. And when I say "people" I mainly just mean my parents. But i do want the people important in my like to be proud and to see that I can make and do amazing things. In order for me to "find happiness" is honestly to have a pug. Also to have a family and a business. But mainly to have a pug, but that only when I feel that I have reached my goals in life.

To find the good in things.

I am very bad at this and like to think about negatives. I believe that things happen for a reason. Whatever happens, good or bad, I plan to look for ways it can benefit me. I use that and grow from it and that's how I get by with my life goals. It's all about the way you react to situations.
