Below are notes, resources, and homework from today's class.
Today's Homework (Turn in on Google Classroom):
1. Using Canva, identify 3 things you DEFINITELY want to do every day during these strange times and WHY you want to do them. Think about your IDENTITY and WHO you want to be.
*Should be measurable--something you hope to do daily.
2. Consider or imagine a character living through these times and the questions that might be running through their mind. Create a Canva Post with “Covid-19 Questions” at the top, and the question in the box.

Norms of Class:
~40 minutes of class time, 20 minutes of Q&A
~People will stay muted, and I will unmute people if we are heading into discussion. Use the chat box to let me know if you have something to contribute to discussion!
~Hour 2 Recommendations:
*10 minutes of silent meditation (If silence is too difficult, download and try an app like Insight Timer, which is free. There are other apps like Calm that are also great!)
*20 minutes of independent reading
*20 minutes of working on the homework assignment and turning it in!
*10 minute conversation or letter writing! Call someone you haven't talked to in a while, or strike up conversation with someone in your home OR write an email or text/DM to someone who you haven't connected with in a while who you care about! Take this opportunity to connect with other people!
Week 2, Day 1 Powerpoint (There are notes by Ms. Jamie in the notes section of each slide!)

Email from Mr. Schwartz below for those wanting Physics/Math:
Dear Families,
As this pandemic continues throughout our communities and the need for our students to continue their education, I am offering some resources to help with this objective. Once we are able to return to traditional classes we will be taking a deep dive into Algebra for math and start working on simple machines, mechanical advantage and efficiency in physics. The following lessons will help prepare you for these upcoming classes.
