Hey Everyone!!!!!
It's me, Carol! Whether you are a former student of mine, a current student of mine, or a teen I haven't yet met quarantined in these strange times of ours, welcome to Humanities class! I'm excited to be with you all for this week (and longer if there is interest :).

For anyone who is a current student of mine, you'll get extra credit for participating if you are here for the full week and turn in the tasks :) It is TOTALLY optional for my current students!

Two things to do tonight or early tomorrow morning before class:
1. Head to where we will host the meeting and download Zoom onto your computer: https://zoom.us/j/387364556?pwd=clRUcUNvcEhzVnp5djR1ZDEzTlRkUT09 (you can also download Zoom on your phone!)
2. Register for class here: QuarantineClassRegistration

I will be hosting class via Zoom from 11am-11:40am daily from March 16th-March 20th. I will have 20 minutes of Q&A from 11:40-12pm.

You'll need a few important links:
Everything will be published on my online digital portfolio under the tab QUARANTINECLASS! --if you have a friend who misses Day 1, no worries, they can catch up with Day 1 on their own time, and join us with no problem at all on Day 2!

So far, only this letter is there, but everything we will be working with will be on my DP here:

Each day at 11am, join the Zoom Meeting by following the link below:
https://zoom.us/j/387364556?pwd=clRUcUNvcEhzVnp5djR1ZDEzTlRkUT09
You will have to type in your name, and join with video/audio.

Meeting ID: 387 364 556
Password: 931519

I will send reminders out before class starts with a reminder link!

Can't wait to see you all tomorrow at 11am. You'll need your computer, access to the internet, and access to audio to speak and listen. When I tried this out tonight with my husband, background noise was not our friend! Headphones are definitely recommended!

Peace & Love,
Carol
